THE EXECUTIVE CHANGE LEADER COURSE

Learn how to combat change fatigue, prevent resistance to change, get better results with your change initiatives.

SOUND FAMILIAR?

My employees are resistant to change

Employees complain there is too much change, but we need to change to stay competitive

You had to tweak the new software and now it performs like the old software

You had buy-in, but now employees aren’t following through

“Coaching sessions helped to keep the change leadership training from the Executive Change Leader Course top of mind and really helped to enforce it. Had we just had the training it would not have been as impactful.”

I really enjoyed the course – your presentation of the material was exceptional. I have been involved in many change initiatives as a Business Solutions Leader and I found your course to be right on the mark on some of the challenges that I have faced. It certainly reinforced some of the strategies that I implemented with positive outcomes as you covered. I also benefited from the feedback you elicited from the group. I discovered I wasn’t alone in the challenges that I have faced when managing change! The format, material and strategies presented in this course are essential for anyone responsible for leading change in their organization.

Here are just some of the topics we will explore in the course:

Launching Change Part 1

We start with why understanding and leading in both dimensions of change sets you up for success. Using the Whitespace Assessment you will be able to recognize potential risks earlier.

Launching Change Part 2

In part two of the first unit you will learn the #1 strategy for reducing change fatigue. You will also explore why ignoring the “Law of Change” can be fatal to your change efforts. By the end of this unit you should be able to launch a change initiative that is set up for success.

Leading Change Part 1

Now’s the time to abandon managing resistance to change, in this class you will discover why managing resistance can sabotage your success. Using the Continuum of Change you will be able to recognize readiness and the actions needed to take readiness to the next level. You will explore what’s needed to eliminate resistance to change.

Leading Change Part 2

In the second half of the leading change unit we will take a deep dive into what makes a successful change leader. We’ll also look at the importance of communication. You will discover the most powerful communication tool and how to use it to increase your success with change.

Living Change Part 1

Just like when landing a 747, approach matters. In this final unit you find out why your approach to change matters. We will differentiate between approach and methodology, and how your approach can prevent resistance to change. Using our 3 1/2 step change planning model you will uncover the key elements needed to create a flexible plan that builds employee capacity for change.

Living Change Part 2

Avoiding yo-yo change is essential for preventing change fatigue and creating a stronger healthier organization. In this final class we will discuss what it means to monitor throughout the transition. Using transition outcome indicators you will identify what you need to do to assess progress. Finally we’ll differentiate between integration and implementation and why knowing the difference it’s critical to your change success.
